Getting into a script department can be tough—and while notetaking is often seen as the ‘entry-level’ way in, it takes anything but entry-level skills.

This hands-on workshop demystifies the writers room, exploring the role of the notetaker with practical examples and a mock writers room to try it yourself. We’ll also look at other ways into screenwriting, plus share tips for building genuine industry connections. Expect a fun, collaborative session where you’ll learn about industry pathways and connect with fellow writers.
