The Chinese Museum has produced videos featuring the stories of Chinese Australians who served during World War I and World War II, as told by their contemporary descendants.

A common thread among their stories is that, despite legislation that restricted their enlistment for service, Chinese Australians fought their way through these barriers and served their country at a time of greatest need. Many of them were awarded medals for their bravery and courage.

Four Langtip brothers – Henry, Ernest, Bertie, and Leslie – saw action in the Middle East, including in the battle of Beersheeba.
