From the 28 August to 4 September, "The Essence of Life", exhibition was held in our Level 1 Gallery.  This panda-themed exhibition was held in conjunction with PR Asia and Melbourne Fashion Week.

This interesting exhibition was an exciting activity for the Chinese Museum, showcasing the artworks by Pan Yueming, a renowned actor from China. This exhibition included illustration, calligraphy, image, sculpture, clothing and YueMing's fan's artworks. 

Whilst the exhibition was on, the Museum also played host to a MFW after party and a special meet and greet event for Mr Pan and his fans.  During the week, we had lots of young Chinese visitors come through our doors for the first time, and they were enthralled by Pan's artwork in the museum that had never been seen before. 

The Chinese Museum presented a special gift to Mr Pan: A Limited Edition framed Dai Loong Dragon Scale.
