Did you know that the parasol is a Chinese invention? Students will hear stories about some of the most interesting Chinese inventions in history and your classroom will be turned into a museum for a hands-on exploration of objects.

A surcharge of $100 per 10km applies to schools further than 30km from the Museum

We can cater for up to 300 students in one day for 3-session incursion. Activities are run on a rotating roster.

Duration

All sessions are 45 minutes long. The total program is 3 hours approx., including breaks.

Requirements: A classroom with seating for all participants at tables and chairs; and a screen/IWB on which to project a PowerPoint presentation from our instructor's laptop. For multiple sessions, we require one designated classroom for the whole program where each class/group of students come to us. It is difficult for our instructors to move from classroom to classroom.
