This is not a performance. It is an interactive workshop where students actively learn the basics of Lion Dance and play traditional Chinese musical instruments used in celebrations.

Students will dance, explore movement, and learn about the cultural significance of lions in Chinese culture and festivals. They will also have hands-on opportunities to play Chinese drums, cymbals and gongs as part of the learning experience.

The Lion Dance workshop was absolutely delightful this morning. The boys had a fantastic time playing the Chinese drums, cymbals, and gongs, as well as immersing themselves in the Lion's props to dance. A big thank you goes to Sabrina for her clear instructions and infectious enthusiasm, which truly added a spark of joy to the entire workshop.  Year 5-6 Teacher, Trinity Grammar School
